This book is a great high school text book because the sections are manageable and the content is understandable. This text book was written with 15 year-old in mind, and I appreciate level of depth and the interesting demos provided in the margins. If you are teaching chemistry, this is the California public school textbook, and it is a great choice.

About the Author

just were always butting heads trying to get the other to change/not understanding why we were always butting heads when we love

We just celebrated our 30th anniversary. This book and video series was the only thing that genuinely helped us. All our other marriage seminars, books, etc. focused on communication. We were communicating fairly well, just were always butting heads trying to get the other to change/not understanding why we were always butting heads when we loved each other and agreed on so many life issues. This book changed our marriage for the first time, because it helped me understand that my husband is just plain wired differently and MUST feel respect. He would get mad, but I'd have no idea why - because I was looking from a female perspective. Finally, as I changed my interactions with him, he felt respected and calmed down. He had always treated me very well, but after I changed, his feelings for me seemed to go deeper. I could go on but won't. I recommend this book and ministry to everyone I encounter.

Right inline with the truth

So it might sound strange to say this is one of my favorite reads and I've never even dated let alone gotten married. I often would watch my nieces when my sister and brother in law lived closer, and not being much into TV let alone know how to work their's, I would read their books after the girls had gone to sleep. My sister received a lot of books on marriage and being a wife after she married, and to be honest, they were so far from the truth it disgusted me. It painted marriage to be a benefit to a man that required complete submission of a wife's life to her husbands. Love & Respect is the only book so far I've read that is completely inline with the Bible when it comes to the purpose of a marriage and how to make it work. It correctly identifies marriage as a God ordained union rather than a selfish choice and focuses on the purpose of a marriage being a form of worship to God. I would recommend that ever couple to read this book before and throughout thier marriage.

More thorough clinical diagnostic correlations than ever before. Excellent!!!

Hi,

Initially I was skeptical whether Professor Greenman's new edition would be any thing new. I was hoping, but I was cautious. And I recieved the book 3-4 days ago, and after reading each chapter, I am thoroughly satisfied, 5 stars. As Lisa DeStefano has placed valuable clinical information, 'clinical pearls', in this 4th edition that makes understanding and interpreting the positive and negative physical examination findings much more understandable. Actually, I did not get the chance to attend one of Professor Greenman's 'Clinical Pearls' seminars from Michigan State University before he retired, and I even asked if he would write a book on the topic. However, understandably Professor Greenman declined, as he is retired. That is why I am very pleased to read this new edition as it is full of useful information.

p.s. As you can see I am bias towards the Greenman Approach, this happened after I attended one of his seminars in the United States, it was of excellent quality. Also, I wanted to let those who are interested know that Michigan State University (MSU) is now selling DVD's by Professor Greenman (Muscle Energy Technique, High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust, Myofascial, and Functional)on osteopathic technique, application and philosophy. If you would like a recommendation, they are the highly recommended, 5 star. And, after reading this latest edition, I have found out that Michigan State University (MSU)has post graduate courses on osteopathic philosophy and technique, which I will attend after seeing the quality of the book, DVD's and Professor Greenman's last ever seminar in Arizona, which I was fortunate enough to attend in January 2010.

Sin embargo, para la minor�a que la produce, trafica y vende este producto no es m�s que una fuente de riquezas r�pida e il�cita, de poder y crueldades necesarias donde todo vale para retener sus feudos. Grupos de narcotraficantes y carteles de la droga, da igual el nombre, de Medell�n, de Cali, de Sinaloa, de Ju�rez o la Mafiya rusa luchan entre s�, contra los gobiernos nacionales, las organizaciones internacionales antidrogas, masacran, torturan, secuestran y aterrorizan a la poblaci�n por el control de la producci�n, las rutas de distribuci�n y los mercados de consumo, se al�an, se traicionan, pactan y sobornan autoridades civiles y militares, entrenan o alquilan ej�rcitos privados y sicarios para eliminar la competencia o a los detractores, todo en nombre del Oro Blanco. Roberto Saviano is a great writer. He is a good researcher and journalist but overwhelmingly very fearless of the threats from organized crime.

This book is quite illustrative of this topic around the world.

The only non positive comment is about the English edition which is only available in Kindle format. It would be better to edit it in paperback as well.
