Mi mam� dice que al final del arco iris hay un duende que tiene una olla con oro. Es cosa de seguir al arco iris hasta el final para llevarse la olla con oro. Es f�cil, pero mi mam� todav�a no me da permiso para ir tan lejos. Cuando mi pap� riega el jard�n, aparecen un mont�n de arco iris m�s peque�os. Trato de agarrarlos, pero no puedo. Los duendes que viven en los arco iris del jard�n son muy peque�os. Se deben parecer a los que viven dentro de los enchufes. Los duendes de los enchufes son malos. La otra vez trat� de sacar a uno de un enchufe y me apret� muy fuerte los dedos. Vomit� lentejas. Ahora miro los hoyos de los enchufes de lejos. Los duendes de los enchufes son malos. Mi pap� sali� a arreglar la citroneta. Dice que bota aceite. Mi mam� le llev� un jarro con jugo a mi pap�. Mi pap� le daba besos a mi mam�. Me molesta que mi pap� le d� besos a mi mam�. �l tiene a su mam�, �por qu� mi pap� quiere quitarme la m�a? �Por qu� no le va a dar besos a su mam� y deja tranquila a mi mam�, que es m�a? Mi pap� es ego�sta, quiere tener dos mam�s y dejarme a m� sin ninguna. Mi pap� me dijo que la parti�ramos en dos, pero le dije que no, porque �l se va a quedar con una mam� y media y yo me quedar� con media mam� nom�s. Pero si tengo que elegir, me quedo con la parte de arriba de mi mam�. Que mi pap� se quede con la parte de abajo, que no sirve. Mi pap� sali� a probar la citroneta. Qued� una mancha negra, donde mi pap� la estaba arreglando. Parece que un arco iris se muri� en el suelo, uno grande. �Si se muere un arco iris tambi�n se mueren los duendes que viven dentro? �Y la olla con oro estar� dentro de la mancha? El arco iris me manch� la mano cuando trat� de agarrarlo. Fui a buscar una taza para echar el arco iris muerto. Ech� el arco iris muerto arriba de mi cama para revisarlo. �Por qu� el arco iris se pone negro cuando se muere? Debe ser que se apagan como las luces. Parece que no viven mucho. Lo prob�, pero no me gust�. Se debe estar descomponiendo, como los pescados cuando no los meten en el refrigerador. Parece que cuando un arco iris se muere, los duendes que viven dentro se deshacen. �De qu� habr� muerto? Yo creo que mi pap� lo atropell�, porque estaba debajo de la citroneta. �Lo habr� matado adrede o fue de casualidad? Yo creo que fue de casualidad, como la vez que se cay� el florero blanco. Quer�a saber qu� hab�a arriba del mueble del comedor. Fue de casualidad, porque yo no lo toqu�, se cay� solo. Pero mi mam� igual me castig�, dos veces, un castigo por botar el florero y el otro castigo por mentiroso. �Pero yo no bot� el florero, se cay� solo! —�Hora de almorzar! —grit� mi mam�. Me sent� a almorzar y mi mam� me pregunt� por qu� estaba tan callado. —Seguramente estabas haciendo alguna maldad —me dijo. —No —le dije.
