When Marine Sergeant C.J. Great Read!!!

I've read all of Lynn Scott's books because she writes with both in-depth knowledge and incredible feeling. Her military knowledge is accurate to the smallest detail. In this novel, the feeling of suspense is riveting -- each time we think the heroine is safe; Ms. Scott reminds us that our military are never far from the grip of danger.
The Embassy Guards is another great read!!! I can't wait for her next book.

Another winner!

This is the third book I've read by this author and she never fails to deliver. Scott knows how to tell a good story.
This one grabs you from the very beginning and never lets go! A great blend of military drama, corps d'esprit, weaponry galore, spunky and skilled heroine, macho Marines, bombs, British intelligence, covert schemes, terrorists, an overbearing mother, saucy banter ... Mix well and throw in a bit of spicy romance! Scott has served up another satisfying dish.
I am becoming such a fan that I may actually have to venture over to the dark side and try her military vampire series. But not before I finish reading all her stand-alone military thrillers. Ooh-rah!

Military gusto!

I love the way Lynne Scott writes - her military background is obvious, and the gritty style is riveting, and completely appropriate in our world where so many us are sick to death of politically correct mamby-pamby whiny stuff that hides the great details, both positive and negative, of military life. This story goes a bunch of different directions, keeps you guessing, but storylines are well laid with good foundations and sewn up in neat style with many explosive incidents. The Embassy Guards contains more than enough action for the toughest guy to read, but enough feeling and emotion to satisfy a sensitive lady. This author truly has a gift. Read this!
